The Girls in Dance Festival is a festival for teenage girls aged 13-21 years who enjoy dancing to get inspired, empowered, learn about leadership and be part of a community of like-minded girls!
The Girls in Dance Festival offers girls a safe space to connect, grow and be yourselves, using dance as a transformative tool in that journey. It will be an opportunity to have fun, learn about careers in dance, and learn skills to become change makers in your personal and future professional lives.
You can attend on your own, with friends or as part of a group. Either way, you will have chances to connect with other girls.
Curated and organised by the charity AWA DANCE, this is a unique in-person event that celebrates girls' futures with:
- dance workshops (general dance level)
- interactive stalls
- Stands to buy items
- Professional role models from leading organisations and individuals
- and more, to inspire the next generation of girls through the power of dance.
