Join us for an exclusive tasting with Marilisa Allegrini, President of the Marilisa Allegrini Group, featuring wines from her Tuscan estate, San Polo.
Hosted at Eataly Vino - Eataly Flatiron’s Wine Store, Marilisa will guide a sample of San Polo Rubio, San Polo Rosso di Montalcino, and San Polo Brunello di Montalcino, sharing stories of the estate, Brunello di Montalcino, and her commitment to organic, sustainable practices.
About San Polo:
San Polo is an organic producer of Brunello di Montalcino owned by famed winemaker Marilisa Allegrini and her two daughters, Carlotta and Caterina. Located on the cooler, high-elevation side of Montalcino, in what was once the original and only zone delineated for the production of Brunello di Montalcino, San Polo comprises 54 acres of organically-farmed land and focuses on regenerative viticulture.
The first winery in Tuscany to obtain CasaClima Sustainability Certification, all wines are 100% estate-grown and bottled. San Polo’s location benefits from cool nights and significant diurnal shifts. These temperature swings are coupled with less humidity and more wind, promoting vine health at San Polo. The nearby extinct volcano of Mount Amiata contributes to San Polo’s singular terroir through ancient pyroclastic deposits, while protecting the estate from south-easternly winds.

- This is a standing, tasting event within our Eataly Vino Wine Store at Eataly Flatiron, registering for the event does not book a seat.
- San Polo Wines will be available to purchase at Eataly Vino for both standing guests and walk-in customers.
- All guests planning to purchase and consume alcohol must be able to produce a valid government-issued identification to prove they are 21 or older.
