Join Jane White, BA (Hons) Dance Course Leader and Senior Lecturer at Arts University Bournemouth, for this participatory workshop which invites people of all different ages (13+ years-old) and abilities to explore the power of dance and movement as tools for enhancing physical health, emotional balance and community connection!
Rather than focusing on technical skill, the session emphasises mindful movement, creative expression and the joy of moving together.
No previous knowledge is required.
Please wear comfortable shoes.
Workshop Times: 12:00, 15:00 (see age suitability)
Run Time: 60 minutes
Suitability: 13 - 18 years old (12:00 - 13:00), 16+ years-old (15:00 - 16:00)
PLEASE NOTE: a few additional tickets for each workshop will be available on the day at the workshop door in Sir James Matthew Building, on a first-come-first-served basis.
Accessibility: Venue is wheelchair accessible. A quiet room, with a sensory tent, will be available nearby - please ask a member of the festival team for directions.
