Hi, we’re Hatch Escapes!
We do escape rooms a little differently. Each of our games is built around a story that puts you at the center of the action—almost like stepping into a real-life video game. Our three award-winning experiences are dramatically different from one another, ensuring that every visit is as unique as you are.

Lab Rat (75 Minutes)

Step into a lab where the roles are reversed—giant rats are experimenting on humans, and you’re the test subject! Ratkenstein, a doctoral student in the field of human intelligence, has tasked you with completing a series of tests. If you succeed, he can finally finish his dissertation. If you fail… well, let’s just say there’s a “test-subject chipper” waiting.

The Ladder (90 Minutes)

Embark on a 50-year career at Nutricorp, an Omaha-based vitamin company with more than a few dark secrets. Each room of The Ladder represents a new decade—from the rockin’ 1950s to the high-tech 1990s—and features both scored games and story-driven puzzles.

Your score (a.k.a. your salary) determines how your story unfolds: raise a family, hire a secretary, or unlock hidden areas that change your fate. Every choice you make affects the ending—and might even open a secret room.

Will you rise as a hero or fall as a villain? Become a millionaire or end up broke? There’s only one way to find out.

The Nest (60 Minutes)

The Nest is an intimate, story-driven experience that blends immersive theater, puzzles, and exploration. Armed with only a flashlight and cassette player, you’ll explore a storage unit once owned by a woman named Josie. As you uncover her belongings and listen to her audio diary, you’ll slowly piece together a surreal, heartbreaking, and beautiful story about memory, love, and loss.
